This flipchart describes what motion is and what causes an object to move. Streamline videos, activities, and an assessment are included.

All students use numbers, number systems and equivalent forms (including number words, objects, and graphs) to compute, estimate, and solve theoretical and practical problems.  Students will demonstrate understanding of these concepts by using them to solve problems, representing them in multiple ways and explaining it to someone else.  It is expected that students will be required to solve real world problems showing reasoning skills, using communication skills, and utilizing emerging technologies in meaningful ways.

Students will recognize numbers and count sets of objects.

This flipchart is a counting lesson I designed for a Kindergarten classroom. This lesson is an active practice lesson that requires the students to come to the Activboard and count sets. They can then write in their answer on the board. There are hidden answers on every page, a page devoted to the concept of zero with hidden dinosaurs, and music clips to cheer the students on. I have included page notes that explain where all of the hidden surprises are. There are also an additional 4 guided practice pages where the students come up 5 at a time to practice counting.

This Kindergarten flipchart introduces numbers 1-10. Students count sets of objects, find the correct numeral, fill in missing numbers, produce sets for numbers, and are able to learn more about numbers (even and odd) through a video.

Kindergarten students will count, identify, and write numbers and also use positional terms.

This flipchart explains the basic concept of odd and even numbers. Activities that encourage student involvement include hundreds chart activities, Activote questions, and a web based activity.

In this flipchart the children will interactively learn about even and odd numbers. Container fields with sounds are used to show correct and incorrect answers. The last few pages are an assessment with ACTIVotes.

This flipchart teaches students to observe objects for symmetry. It begins with an explanation and a video about symmetry. A symmetry song is included. Then it moves on to having the students make decisions about symmetry. Activote is used in this flipchart and it includes directions on having the students add their own pictures and examples of symmetry.
